About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Backend Developer to join our team at Hyperbeat. You will be at the core of building scalable and secure backend systems, integrating blockchain technology, and crafting robust APIs that empower decentralized applications (dApps) and our growing ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for Hyperbeat.
- Develop and optimize APIs (REST, GraphQL) to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with smart contract developers and integrate blockchain technologies.
- Work closely with frontend developers to provide seamless and secure user experiences.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring scalability and uptime.
- Write efficient, reusable, and well-tested code following industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in Web3, APIs, and backend development.
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in backend development, with a focus on Web3 or blockchain projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages: Node.js, Python, Go, or Rust.
- Solid understanding of API design, development, and integration.
- Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Familiarity with blockchain networks like Ethereum, Polygon, or similar, and tools like Web3.js or ethers.js.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud services.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, a collaborative mindset, and self-motivation in a remote environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in DeFi
- Knowledge of Layer 2 solutions, decentralized storage (e.g., IPFS), or tokenomics.
